There are a lot of reasons you might be looking for outdoor dining options. Safety is certainly still an issue for some. But there's also the fact that sharing a meal under the stars (or sun) is just plain fun! So, if your family is looking for a restaurant with outdoor seating or the perfect place to picnic, this list can help. 

Restaurants with Outdoor Seating 

Whether you’re grabbing a quick snack or lingering over a leisurely meal, here’s where to find restaurants that offer outdoor seating.
Back 9 Grill – Play a round at Christmas Lake Golf Course, then refresh and refuel with one-of-a-kind eats.
Fat Daddy’s Grill & Chill – Step up to the window or drive through for burgers, ice cream, treats, and more, then claim your seat at one of the covered picnic tables.
Frosty’s Fun Center – Grab a specialty pizza or Dirty Sundae to go, then head to one of the outdoor tables to enjoy your meal. 
Monkey Hollow Winery and Distillery – Local spirits and cheese and sausage are always on the menu. And on Saturdays during the summer, you can also enjoy delicious meals hot off the grill!

New Boston Tavern – The famous pork chops—and other home-cooked favorites—taste even better enjoyed in the outdoor seating area.
Pepper’s Ridge Winery – Claim a picnic table or a seat on the patio to enjoy wine tastings, local cheeses and sausages, and gorgeous scenery.   
S&S BBQ & Pizzeria – Keep an eye on all the happenings around Kringle Place Shopping Center as you dine!
Scoops – Scoop up burgers, sandwiches, ice cream, and more via the drive-thru window and enjoy at one of the on-site picnic tables.
The Rustic – The restaurant’s enclosed patio seating is the perfect place to enjoy steak, seafood, pastas, sandwiches, and more.

You can pack your own picnic basket—or just grab some takeout. Either way, your meal will taste better when enjoyed at one of these outdoor spots.  
Community Parks – Parks throughout the area offer tables, shelter houses, and other spots to picnic when you’re passing through.
Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial – Treat yourself to a hike and a history lesson before or after you enjoy a picnic in this national park.
Lincoln Ferry Park – This riverfront park with shelter house is located on the spot where Abraham Lincoln operated his ferryboat business on the Ohio River.
Lincoln State Park – You’ll find every kind of outdoor recreation at the park. And you’ll also find picnic tables and shelter houses located all across the beautiful grounds!
