From local festivals to live entertainment to spooktacular Halloween activities… here are the events to add to your fall itinerary.
Kids World at Holiday World – Saturdays and Sundays through September 16 at Holiday World are even more fun. Check out magic shows, jugglers, stilt walkers, interactive fun zones, and so much more!
Performances at Lincoln Amphitheatre – The stage lights up with live music from Monsters of Yacht on September 2, Eddie Montgomery of Montgomery Gentry on September 9, and Led Zeppelin 2 on September 23.
Live Music at Monkey Hollow Winery and Distillery – Saturdays in September (and October!) are for live music and local sips!
Wine Fest at Beloved Farms – Spend a day at the farm with the family enjoying wine tastings, kids' activities, and more on September 2.
Dale Fall Festival – The county’s largest street festival offers carnival rides, live entertainment, and more family fun, September 7 - 9!
Grandview Fall Festival – On September 9, bring the whole family for a day of fun including a bounce house, petting zoo, outdoor movie, half-pot drawing, and BBQ chicken dinners.
Chrisney Fall Fest – The annual fall festival is fun for the whole family, with rides, kids’ games, food, parade, and more, September 15 - 16.
Halloween Weekends at Sun Outdoors Lake Rudolph – Have a spooktacular stay on weekends, September 15 through October 28. Lots of Halloween fun, including costume and decorating contests, movie nights, and more.
Bluff City Intertribal Pow Wow – Head to Rockport City Park September 16 - 17 for two days of activities celebrating Native American culture, including drumming, dancing, crafts, storytelling, food, and more.
Honest Abe Trail Run – Sign up for a scenic race through the woods at Lincoln State Park on September 17.
St. Meinrad Rocks Fest – St. Meinrad Park comes to life on September 22 and 23 for two days of music, vendors, food, and fun.
Vintage Baseball Game – On September 23, enjoy old-fashioned fun as local favorites the Mariah Hill Yanks take on the Indianapolis Blues and the Bluegrass Barons, playing according to the 1864 rules.
On the Hill 5K – Runners and walkers will line up for the popular race at Saint Meinrad Archabbey on September 23.
Fall Family Fun Festivities at Lakeview Orchards – Take a hay ride, find your way through straw and corn mazes, paint pumpkins, and more, Saturdays and Sundays beginning September 23 and through October 22.
Happy Halloween Weekends at Holiday World – Fall-themed extras throughout the park—including Halloween shows, corn mazes, and more—kick off on Saturdays and Sundays beginning September 23. Don't forget to stick around for the Halloween in the Sky Drone Show on Saturdays beginning September 23.
Pioneer Day at Colonel Jones Home – Learn how the pioneers lived with hands-on activities, demonstrations, and family fun on September 30.
Happy Halloween Weekends at Holiday World – Fall fun weekends continue at Holiday World through October 29. And the Halloween in the Sky Drone Show continues on Saturday nights through October 28.
Fall Family Fun Festivities at Lakeview Orchards – October is packed with hay rides, corn mazes, pumpkin painting, and more, Saturdays and Sundays through October 22.
"Amp Unplugged" Performances at Lincoln Amphitheatre – The season comes to a close with two great Sunday matinee shows: Sweet Baby James on October 1 and King's Highway on October 8.
Kids Days at Pumpkins and More Farm Market – Paint pumpkins, go on hayrides, and try the “Pumpkin Smasher," Sundays through October 22.
Monte Cassino Pilgrimages at Saint Meinrad Archabbey – Every Sunday in October, gather for a pilgrimage to the shrine, including opening and closing hymns, short sermon, rosary procession, and Litany of the Blessed Virgin.
Spencer County Fair – Carnival rides, pageants, a demolition derby, food… enjoy it all October 4 - 7!
St. Francis of Assisi Octoberfest – On October 7, head to the St. Nicholas Church Pavilion for a day of food, fun, and fellowship!
Fall in Love with the Farm at Beloved Farms – Head to the farm for fun, family-friendly fall activities, Saturdays and Sundays throughout October.
Young Abe's Bluegrass & Country Craft Fair – Lincoln State Park and Lincoln Amphitheatre will host this second annual event on October 8. Enjoy craft vendors, food, and naturalist-led activities. Ticket-holders can stick around for a performance by King's Highway.
Ghosts of Santa Claus Town – Santa Claus Museum & Village invites visitors to meet some not-so-scary guests and learn the history of the town on October 14.
Mt. Zion AppleFest – October 14 and 15 celebrate the 42nd annual Applefest with arts and crafts vendors, food, and Indiana’s largest apple pie!
Fall Frolic – Lincoln State Park is the place to be for fall-themed kids’ activities on October 14 and 21.
Harvest Party at Monkey Hollow Winery and Distillery – Bring the family for complimentary wine samples, food, tours, and live music on October 21.
Haunted Barn at Pumpkins and More Farm Market – Scare up a good time with a visit to the Haunted Barn on October 21 and 22.
Fall Heritage Day at Lincoln Pioneer Village & Museum – Step back in time on October 28 to experience costumed interpreters, demonstrators, kids’ activities, music, food, and more.
Craft Show at Pumpkins and More Farm Market – Find gifts, crafts, and more when a wide variety of vendors set up shop on October 28.
All Hallows' Eve at Santa Claus Museum & Village – Gather in the historic Santa Claus Church on October 29 for an interactive telling of Washington Irving's classic ghost story, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
Halloween Bash at Beloved Farms – Enjoy some scary-good fun for the whole family on October 28.
Yellig Park Trick-or-Treat Trail – Load up your pumpkins with candy while you enjoy kids’ activities, costume contests, and more on October 29.
