The Spencer County Visitors Bureau is looking for local Tourism Ambassadors to volunteer at the new visitor center.

As a Tourism Ambassador, you’ll have the opportunity to share your unique knowledge of the area—and meet people from all over the country!

What is a Tourism Ambassador?

A Tourism Ambassador is a Spencer County resident with a love of the area and a desire to help visitors have the best possible experience during their time here!

Tourism Ambassadors will greet guests at the new Spencer County Visitor Center, located at 25 West Christmas Boulevard in Santa Claus, Indiana, and provide basic information and recommendations to visitors regarding Spencer County attractions, shopping, restaurants, and other things to do throughout the area.

What does it take to be a Tourism Ambassador?

Spencer County residents are experts on the area, so it’s easy to be a Tourism Ambassador!

You’ll need basic knowledge about Spencer County’s tourism-related sites and businesses, a friendly, personable attitude, and the ability to interact with a diverse group of visitors.

Visitor Center hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm CT, and Saturday, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm CT.
