The Chrisney branch of the Lincoln Heritage Public Library offers a wide collection of books, audios, DVDs, magazines, and newspapers. The library is part of the state-wide circulation system, Evergreen, where libraries within Indiana can all share the same catalog and materials, using the statewide delivery system to share the materials. Visitors with an Evergreen Indiana library card are welcome to view the catalogs and borrow print, e-reader, and other materials from this branch. For the business, student, or leisure traveler, many convenient services are also offered, including a 24/7 book drop, printing, faxing, copying, laminating, wireless/mobile printing, free Wi-Fi, computer use, and notary services. Monthly programs for children, teens, and adults are also offered. This library site is the first certified net-zero public library in the state of Indiana to use solar and geothermal technology and was awarded the Partner in Progress Award for being a leader in renewable energy and making a lasting impact on the state of Indiana.
