Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire

Posted on December 11, 2015

Every winter, Santa’s Candy Castle offers families the chance to experience the centuries-old tradition of roasting chestnuts on an open fire. "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire Jack Frost nipping at your nose Yuletide carols being sung by a choir And folks dressed up like Eskimos" Something about being all bundled up and gathered around a crackling fire sounds incredibly inviting. Plus, you can grab a cup of hot cocoa (they have over 30 flavors!) and learn how the chestnut roasting tradition started. Here’s a look at what to expect: https://youtu.be/kp5n-8vYeZA This fun-filled family event takes place every Saturday in December before Christmas from 6:00 – 8:00 pm CT.
