Before your visit to Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari. Before you set up camp at Lincoln State Park or Sun Outdoors Lake Rudolph. Before you catch a show at Lincoln Amphitheatre. Your first stop when you roll into the Santa Claus, Indiana, area should be the new Spencer County Visitor Center. 

Offering everything from helpful information to a fantastic themed photo op, the Visitor Center is where you'll discover ways to make your visit extra memorable!

  1. So. Much. Information. Need a map? We’ve got them. Want to know when restaurants and shops are open? We have that. Looking for things to do on rainy day? Yep, we can help you out with that, too. From printed resources to knowledgeable staff, the Visitor Center has the answers to (almost) all your questions!

  1. Say Cheese. Every great vacation deserves equally great photos to remember it by. At the Visitor Center, you can get the first pic of your trip alongside our fun Santa Claus and Abraham Lincoln Christmas trees!

  1. Map It Out. Did you know the Santa Claus, Indiana, area is home to a drive-in movie theater? Or one of only two Archabbeys in the country? Or a restaurant famous for its 2” thick pork chops? There’s tons to discover throughout the area. And our map display with an interactive touch screen will help you plan your trip to all the top spots... and show you how to find your way!

  1. We Love Lincoln. A young Abraham Lincoln lived in this area for 14 years, and we’re proud to honor him. Check out our display of Lincoln memorabilia on loan from the Santa Claus Museum & Village.

  1. 24/7 Access. Did we already say so much information? Well, that information is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the vestibule right inside the front door!

Plan Your Visit 

The Spencer County Visitor Center is conveniently located in Santa Claus, Indiana, right along the highway, at 25 West Christmas Boulevard.  

The Visitor Center is open year-round, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm CT, and Saturdays (Memorial Day – December) 8:00 am – 12:00 pm CT. 

Information vestibule is open 24 hours a day.
