2024 Santa Claus Christmas Parade Judges Selected

We went looking for the jolliest of the jolly to judge this year’s Santa Claus Christmas Parade. And lots of amazing entries later, we’ve found them!

A big thank you goes out to everyone who entered the parade judge contest. This year’s entrants went the extra mile to prove their Christmas credentials! Your entries brought us an extra helping of Christmas cheer this year, and it was a difficult (yet rewarding!) job choosing the three winners. 

And the Santa Claus Christmas Parade Judges Are… 

Bud S. is an eight-decade resident of Santa Claus, Indiana. He's been an active community member and proud participant in many area organizations through the years. So, we couldn't think of a better person to offer a local's opinion about this year's parade entries!

Richard L. and his family hail from Mitchell, Indiana, but have traveled to the Santa Claus, Indiana, area on parade weekend for almost 30 years. The parade is always a must-see for them, and they're looking forward to being involved in a brand new way this year.

Carol N. and family are new residents of Indiana, calling Greencastle home. They're huge Christmas fans, watching holiday movies all year and gifting to those in need throughout the season. And this year they're excited to get involved in Christmas activities in their new home state!   

Congratulations to the Winners 

We want to extend hearty congratulations to the three winners. But the honor of judging the Santa Claus Christmas Parade isn’t the only prize they’ve won. Each winner will also receive a Christmas prize pack that includes: one vehicle admission to the Santa Claus Land of Lights, a $30 gift certificate to the Santa Claus Christmas Store, and a $20 gift card to S&S BBQ & Pizzeria and Annie's Ice Cream & Coffee.
