Places to Eat Near Holiday World

If you’re spending a day (or more) at Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari, you’re going to need to eat to keep your energy up. Luckily, we have the inside track on all the best places to eat in the town of Santa Claus and surrounding areas.

While you’re inside the park, be sure to try out some of their amazing offerings... you can order a full turkey dinner with all the trimmings in the Thanksgiving section!

And once you’ve left the park and your family’s stomachs have started to rumble, here are the restaurants and other food favorites you should check out.

Restaurants in Santa Claus, Indiana 

You really don’t have to go far to find a great family meal after leaving Holiday World for the day. There are several restaurants located right in town.

Back 9 Grill – Located at the beautiful Christmas Lake Golf Club, the Back 9 Grill offers breakfast and lunch options, plus dinner specials.

Patriot Nutrition - Grab a wellness tea or nutritional shakes for a busy day on the go!

S&S BBQ & Pizzeri and Annie's Ice Cream - From pulled pork to pizza to frozen treats—you'll find plenty of crowd-pleasing options.

Santa Claus Brewing Co. - Eat, drink, and be merry—you'll find craft beer, burgers, wings, and more.

5 - 15 Minutes from Santa Claus, Indiana 

In as little as five minutes, you’ll find several more restaurants just a short drive away from town. 

The Chateau – Home-cooked menu items and weekend buffets make this hidden gem a treat for hungry families… and it’s just a seven-minute drive from Holiday World.

Hoosier Land Pizza & Wings – Hot, cheesy pizza and 20+ wing flavors are just a quick five-minute drive away.

Jenk’s Pizza – Take an eight-minute drive to Jenk’s for pizza, sandwiches, and the restaurant’s famous strombolis

Jimador Bar & Grill – Nine minutes from Holiday World you’ll find an impressive menu’s worth of Mexican favorites, like tacos, burritos, and more.

New Boston Tavern – Visitors and locals alike head to this hidden gem for the famous pork chop and other home-cooked options! And it’s just a 13-minute drive from Santa Claus.   

Stone Ridge Station – Just want to grab a quick bite to take back to your hotel or cottage? Made-to-order meals, ready-to-go options, and Noble Roman’s pizza are just five minutes away.

Less Than 30 Minutes from Santa Claus, Indiana 

Take a leisurely drive, only 20-30 minutes, to try these area-favorite restaurants. While you’re there, take a step back in time at the Lincoln Pioneer Village & Museum or catch a flick under the stars at the Holiday Drive-In.

Angelo’s Pizza – More than just pizza! Try their famous breadsticks, weekday lunch specials, and BBQ on the weekends. 

Darlena’s Lincolnland Restaurant – Hearty meals for breakfast and lunch are on the menu at Darlena’s. Be sure to try the amazing desserts, too! 

Fat Daddy’s Grill & Chill – This roadside stop offers burgers, sandwiches, ice cream, and daily specials. Eat at the outside table or head toward the nearby Ohio River for dinner with a view!

Los Panchos – Don’t worry about finding your way to this Mexican restaurant. You can’t miss it thanks to the big red caboose right out front! 

On the Rocks – Get your fill of classic favorites, including wings, pizza, BBQ, sandwiches, and more. Stay for the live entertainment on weekends.

River City Brew Works – The grown-ups can sample local craft beers; the kids will delight in the house root beer. And the whole crew will happily dig into pizza, wings, and sandwiches.

The Rustic – A leisurely family meal is on the menu at The Rustic… along with steak, chicken, pork, and seafood dinners, sandwiches, desserts, and more. 

Scoops Ice Cream – Swing by this drive-through restaurant for hot, fresh burgers and sandwiches, plus all your ice cream favorites!

Looking for a quick treat or sweet? Or maybe a sip of some of the area’s best wine and spirits? Here’s where to find them!

Monkey Hollow Winery and Distillery – Enjoy complimentary samples of local wines and spirits at this winery located just nine minutes from Holiday World. Visiting on a summer weekend? The winery fires up the grill and offers a delicious evening meal! 

Pepper’s Ridge Winery – Take a 26-minute drive to this winery tucked away in a scenic country setting. Then enjoy complimentary wine samples paired with a selection of cheese, sausage, and other snacks.

Santa Claus Christmas Store – From giant cookies to flavored fudge to chocolate candies of all kinds. Indulge in a festive sweet treat while you shop this festive store located right in the town of Santa Claus.

Santa’s Candy Castle – Storm this castle to get your sugar fix! Find old-fashioned and hard-to-find candy, chocolates, 35 flavors of cocoa, and the fan-favorite Frozen Hot Chocolate... just seconds away from the main gate to Holiday World!

Stecker Grassfed Farms – Pop in this off-the-beaten-path shop to pick up organic meats and more for the grill during your visit... or to take back home! It’s just a 16-minute drive to this off-the-beaten-path destination.

Sweet P's Frostbite - After a summer day at Holiday World, take a short eight-minute drive to enjoy sweet relief in the form of soft-serve ice cream, shakes, sundaes, and more!

If you’re looking for something a little familiar, there are several chain restaurants in the area.

Denny’s – In Dale, 9 minutes.

Subway – Locations in Dale (9 minutes), Rockport (27 minutes), and Santa Claus.
