Lincoln's baby chicks

It's already been a morning full of surprises! The sunshine finally found us and even though the temperatures are still cold, the thought of spring is definitely in the air… We got to meet the new chicks at Lincoln National Boyhood Memorial this morning and they are as cute as can be! There's an adorable little video below but it doesn't show you how hard it was to catch one of the little guys… or how we scared the poo, literally, out of the one we caught! These guys are such loveable creatures! The Living Historical Farm opens April 10, 2011, and the chicks will settle in at their new home with other sweet farm animals like horses, cows (remember baby Mac?), and more!
