It’s Not Too Late

Lincoln Pioneer Village & Museum, in Rockport, Indiana, is a great place for a family outing. In November and December, you can spend a Saturday or a Sunday exploring all they have to offer. There are 14 replica Lincoln-era cabins to walk through; giving you an up close and personal experience of what life may have been like in the pioneer days of young Abe and his family. Your family can even walk through a one-room school house and discuss what it would be like to have several different age groups learning in one small room. Talk about some teaching skills!
Step back in time as you enter the museum to see hundreds of artifacts representing the time when Lincoln and his family made their home in Spencer County, Indiana. One item on display is a cabinet made by Abe and his father, Thomas Lincoln.
In November and December, the
