What do CNN, Huffington Post, and People.com have in common? The town of Santa Claus!
That's right; all three media featured Santa Claus, Indiana, and its festive, Christmassy nature in the last few days.
CNN included America's Christmas Hometown in its list of "
15 of the best places to spend Christmas" along with other festive destinations like New York, Barcelona, and Malta.
And The Huffington Post published an article, "
Santa Claus, Indiana Has Christmas All Year-Round" stating "Even local businesses boast festive titles: Santa Claus Hardware, Holiday Foods, Kringle Place shopping center and Santa's Candy Castle are all staples."
People.com featured the town of Santa Claus in its "
U.S. Towns Where You Can Celebrate Christmas All Day, Every Day (All Year!)" and highlighted that "each year thousands of Christmas card writers divert their mail through this locale's post office so it can receive the Santa Claus seal of approval."
The Alton Telegraph posted an
article featuring the Fruitcake Eating Championship here, The Times highlighted lots of the wonderful activities and traditions happening in the
town of Santa Claus here, and TV shows like
HGTV's "House Hunters" and BYU's "
The Story Trek" filmed in town recently and aired this month.
We love Christmas and we love spreading the word about America's Christmas Hometown and its Santa Claus Christmas Celebration during the holidays.
