Galentine's Day is a time to celebrate female friendship, and is (unofficially) observed the day before Valentine's Day each year. The holiday gained popularity from "Parks & Rec." The fictional TV show chronicled the lives of an Indiana parks and recreational department. In 2010, the show aired an episode called "Galentine's Day." The lead character, Leslie Knope, created the holiday for "ladies celebrating ladies." So, why should you celebrate Galentine's Day?
