5 Steps for Creating Your Trip to the Santa Claus, Indiana, Area 

1. Download the app. Our trip planner is available on our website and can be accessed by any computer (just look for the “Plan Your Trip” icon at the bottom right). But to get the most out of the planner, you’ll want to download the free app. Available through the Apple App Store and on Google Play.

With the app, all the information you need before and during your trip is right at your fingertips. Helpful hint: Your itinerary can be accessed even without an internet connection!

2. Make your picks. Looking for lodging near Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari? You’ll find it in the trip planner. Outdoor recreation or hidden gems throughout the area? Yep, every attraction, site, and event is listed here, too. Hungry? You got it… you’ll find every restaurant in the area (along with links to menus!).

Ready to start adding to your itinerary? Just click or tap the plus sign to add a location.

3. Map your trip. The Santa Claus, Indiana, area is easy to navigate and sites are pretty close together. So, it’s easy to find your way around—and the app makes it even easier! 

After you’ve added all your must-visit sites to your itinerary, click the My Plan button to see them mapped out and get turn-by-turn walking or driving directions. You can even set the starting point of where you’re traveling from.

Changed your mind about the order you want to visit some of the attractions? Just “drag” the locations to rearrange the order and the map automatically updates!

4. Share your plan. Want everyone in your travel group to be on the same page? From the My Plan page, click the share button (on desktop) or the upload symbol (on mobile) to send your itinerary by email or text or share on social media.

5. Update your plan on the go. With the app, you’ll have your itinerary at hand whenever you need it. And that also means you can update your trip plan at any time. 

Rainy weather? Swap your hike at Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial for a day of shopping at the Santa Claus Christmas Store and other stores around the area. Running behind? Remove one of your stops from your itinerary (though we hate to see you miss out!).
