When The Sun Goes Down

Posted on May 13, 2014

Think the fun ends when the daylight fades away? Think again. Here are five things to do when the sun goes down:
  1. Load up the family, grab some snacks, and end the day by watching a double feature at Holiday Drive-In Movie Theater.
  2. Choose from thousands of ornaments and Christmassy items at the Santa Claus Christmas Store. The day isn’t complete until you find the perfect souvenir or gift!
  3. Try one of the many delicious chocolate confections or ice-old frozen hot chocolates at Santa’s Candy Castle. Kids will love chatting with an elf on the NorthPole Network, too.
  4. Gather around your campfire at Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort for relaxing family time. Your family can also partake in karaoke, glow parades, movies, and so much more. View a complete schedule here.
  5. Watch Abraham Lincoln’s story unfold in “A. Lincoln: A Pioneer Tale” at Lincoln Amphitheatre. The show takes place under a cool, covered roof, nestled inside Lincoln State Park.
