Travel Channel is Coming to Town

Planning to be in town this weekend? The Travel Channel is, too!

We're absolutely thrilled to be a part of the new special, "Christmas Showdown," which will air next year. Of course we know Santa Claus, Indiana, is the most Christmassy town during the holidays... and all year long, and this weekend we can show the Travel Channel why this town is America's Christmas Hometown!

The Travel Channel crew has a full day lined up on Saturday and plans to film events at Santa's Candy Castle (don't miss the fruitcake-eating contest at 11:00 am CST!), the giant Santa Claus statue and newly opened original post office at the Santa Claus Museum & Village, the shining story of Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer at the Santa Claus Land of Lights inside Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort, and more!

I wonder if the crew will have time to write a letter to Santa while they're in town... or maybe they can talk to Santa about his lists at the Santa Claus Christmas Store.
