Share the Love and Shop Local
Posted on February 8, 2016
We all know Valentine's Day is just a few days away (and if you didn't know, now you do!). And we think it's important to shop local.
Well, we wanted to get the inside scoop on how a local boutique prepares for such a holiday and stopped by
Evergreen Boutique to find out.
The shop already ordered 500 red roses and 200 colored roses. Tammy, the owner, says they typically go through over 1,000 flowers and will most likely order more soon. If you're not into the classic bouquet of roses, it is the lilies that are the second most popular pick for Valentine's Day.
Gift ideas are not lacking if you'd rather go with a non-flower item! Honestly, there are so many items displayed that I cannot imagine someone not being able to find the right gift for that special person.
I asked the staff what their favorite items were and they were excited to share what they love most right now.
Evergreen Boutique Valentine's Day Staff Picks:
- Kara loves the Sea Salt Crunch Popcorn. She also noted that the stuffed elephant is super soft and cozy.
- Kendra already purchased herself a sign like this one and took it home!
- Tammy went for the jewelry. She put on a gorgeous Lenny & Eva bracelet and there are so many other varieties to choose from.
- For the smaller Valentine's in your life... all three women just love the new Whiffer Sniffers for kiddos like this strawberry-scented option.
Just a few days left... share the love and shop local, at Evergreen Boutique!
