Halloween Fun: Mind, Body, and Tastebuds

Chocolate-covered peanut butter and jelly, s’more and maple bacon fudge flavors, hot apple cider with whipped cream, buffalo chicken bacon ranch pizza… do I have your attention? The Visitors Bureau got to sample some of the fun and deliciousness that awaits you and your family this weekend as Holiday World kicks off the first of six Happy Halloween Weekends. Hashtag YUM! After touring Holidog’s 3D Halloween Adventure (twice!), chatting with Gourdon the Talking Pumpkin, and exploring the new Carnival Chaos, we snacked on scrumptious fall treats and then headed down to check out the 12 acres of corn mazes near construction of the new Thunderbird coaster. We had tons of fun! Although my favorite part was tasting the rich fall flavor in the s’more-flavored fudge, the tunnel in Holidog’s 3D Halloween Adventure was a close second. The Halloween fun starts this weekend! Family Fall-O-Weekends packages feature tickets to Happy Halloween Weekends at Holiday World and tons of fall fun. Horseback riding at Santa’s Stables, pumpkin painting with Santa at the Santa Claus Christmas Store, exploring trails through the gorgeous fall scenery at Lincoln State Park, and so much more await. I don’t know about you but we can’t wait to go back. In fact, Amanda from our office mentioned how her and her sister already have an action plan of what to ride, where to go, what to taste, and more for this weekend!
