Fall Fun Calendar

Posted on August 12, 2020

Summer’s winding down… but fall fun is picking up!
If you’re looking for ways to enjoy family fun time as we transition between seasons, mark your calendar with these area events.

August

We’re technically still in summer, but with kids headed back to the classroom (both in-person and virtual), it’s starting to feel a lot like fall!
Carolina Story at Lincoln Amphitheatre – On August 16, husband-and-wife duo Carolina Story takes the stage to perform their self-penned harmonies in front of a limited-seating, socially distanced audience.
Music at Monkey Hollow Winery and Distillery – Good spirits of all kinds can be found on live music Saturdays through October 17. Call ahead to find out if the summer grill menu is available!
Music at Pepper’s Ridge Winery – Now through October 24, spend Saturdays and select Sundays enjoying live music and local sips.

September

That fall feeling is just getting stronger! It’s a great time to get outside and enjoy it.
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Tribute at Lincoln Amphitheatre – Eric Brown & the Heartlanders bring the sounds of your favorite Rock and Roll Hall of Fame artists to life on September 5. Hear hits from Tom Petty, John Mellencamp, Aretha Franklin, The Rolling Stones, and more!
Virtual On the Hill 5K – Saint Meinrad Archabbey’s annual race goes virtual for 2020. Participants can race in their neighborhoods, on their treadmills, anywhere—and any time between September 10 and September 13.

Halloween Weekends at Lake Rudolph – Weekends at Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort get spook-tacular September 18 through October 31. Guests are invited to enjoy Halloween activities like bonfire ghost stories, trick-or-treating, site decorating contests, movies, a golf cart parade, and more!
Will Read and Sing for Food - The award-winning group reunites on the Lincoln Amphitheatre stage for an evening of music and storytelling to raise funds for the amphitheatre. Walking Man: The Ultimate Acoustic James Taylor Tribute at Lincoln Amphitheatre - On September 26, the stage lights up with an intimate, solo-acoustic tribute to the five-time Grammy Award winner.
