SWIFT (Southwestern Indiana Family Theatre) and the Lincoln Boyhood Drama Association bring "Footloose the Musical" to the stage for three showings, June 15 - 17, 2023.

Cast with a collection of fresh, local talent, "Footloose the Musical" follows high schooler Ren as he and his mother move from Chicago to a small farming town with a lot of restrictive rules, including a ban on dancing instituted by the local preacher. The film's original, award-winning score is paired with dynamic new songs to tell a story about the wisdom of listening to young people while guiding them with a warm heart and open mind.
