Chief Elf Visits Kelly Clarkson
Posted on December 9, 2019
After only a minor debate about which hat to wear, the town of Santa Claus recently sent our Chief Elf on a merry mission to Los Angeles to chat with Kelly Clarkson!
Kelly Clarkson is a three-time Grammy® Award-winning singer/songwriter, a judge on The Voice, and hosts a daytime talk show on NBC. And, she absolutely loves Christmas – so, of course, she wanted to talk with one of Santa’s Elves from Santa Claus, Indiana.
Mrs. Koch, the founder of the Santa Claus Museum & Village, has been helping Santa answer letters from children all over the world for most of her life. Last year, the volunteer group of Santa’s Elves answered approximately 22,000 letters. These sweet letters pile into the small-but-festive town of Santa Claus, Indiana, each year from countries like Belarus, Germany, India, South Africa, Spain, and Hong Kong.
The episode originally aired on NBC, on Friday, December, 13.
