The Scent of Summer on the Grill

Posted on May 22, 2014

Barbeque-Month grillThis is the time of year when the smell of charcoal wafts through the air, the light of a campfire sparks to life, and the taste of hot dogs and burgers tickle taste buds. One way to celebrate the season of outdoor cooking during your vacation is to make sure you have a grill where you stay; we can help! Here are four ideas to help you celebrate May on the grill: • Not only is Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort filled with campfires for roasting marshmallows, but each site is equipped with a grill ready to ignite. • Stay at a nearby vacation home to be surrounded by the comforts of your own home including a grill and full kitchen for all of your cooking needs. Wilmes Farmhouse, Sally's Vacation Home, Silent Night Vacation & Golf Rentals, and Holiday Guest House Suites each provide this comforting atmosphere. • Lincoln State Park provides grills at its camping sites and even near the beach. The state park is a wonderful place for a picnic. • It's okay if you would rather have someone grill for you, too! Like the taste of BBQ without the hassle? Visit Barbeque USA in the Fourth of July section at Holiday World for BBQ Pulled Pork and more. Do you have a favorite spot to grill? Or a favorite recipe to share? Comment below!
