Trip Tips: How To Get Around

Posted on February 10, 2015

Family fun awaits and getting from one adventure to another couldn’t be easier. Nestled in the rolling hills of southern Indiana, Spencer County is easily accessed from several directions. Sitting between Evansville, IN, and Louisville, KY, Santa Claus is just a few miles from I-64. An easy trip south on Highway 231 takes you straight to Rockport and the southern part of the county.  Get your bearings with these Local Maps. While there isn’t taxi or bus service, there is plenty of free parking available at all area lodging, shopping and attractions, (including Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari).  If you’re staying at Lake Rudolph Campground and RV Resort, take advantage of their free shuttle service to Holiday World. Once parked in the Kringle Place Shopping Plaza, you can enjoy quick walks between local shops and restaurants.  Stop at the Visitors Bureau for current business hours for local attractions and restaurants. We recommend driving to any attractions outside of the shopping plaza. Check out our Getting Around The Area webpage for more information about how easy it is to fit in all the sights during your visit.
