It’s Read Across America Day!
Around the town of Santa Claus, it’s A Visit from St. Nicholas, A Christmas Carol, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas (yes, they were all books first), that make magical reading moments. But a new favorite is Letters to Santa Claus, by Santa’s Elves at the Santa Claus Museum & Village. This book will make you smile, laugh, and maybe spring a tear, as you read the letters children have written to Santa from as far back as the 1930s.
Check out a post about this special book - Letters to Santa Claus.
Another reason to celebrate with a book? It's Dr. Seuss's birthday!
"The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go." ~ Dr. Seuss
Whatever your favorite genre is, pick up a book and do a reading today!
