Budget Travel Names Santa Claus, Ind. to Holiday Fun List

The famous town of Santa Claus, Indiana, is listed on Budget Travel's list, "Holiday Fun from Hollywood to the Holy Land."
The list mentions the "one-of-a-kind postmark" created by a local high school student and offered at the Santa Claus Post Office each year.
"It's the most wonderful time of the year and we're ecstatic to see the town receive such amazing recognition," says Spencer County Visitors Bureau Executive Director Melissa Brockman. "Santa Claus, Indiana, is a magical place to visit, especially during the holiday season."
This year, the town of Santa Claus was also named one of the best holiday attractions on the Travel Channel website and will be featured in
Travel Channel's "Christmastown, USA" and "More Christmastown, USA" airing this Sunday, December 14.
America's Christmas Hometown: Santa Claus, Indiana, hosts a celebration of family fun on the first three weekends of December.
