10 Things to Know About the Santa Claus Christmas Parade

  1. The Santa Claus Christmas Parade starts at 1:00 pm CST on Saturday, December 12, and lasts about one hour.
  2. The parade route begins at the Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari main parking lot and travels past Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort, and through Kringle Place Shopping Center before returning to the starting point. Download a town map here.
  3. Bring a warm jacket, gloves, and a hat to stay nice and toasty.
  4. Secure a parking spot and a prime view of all the action early. If you don’t feel like standing, bring a chair or blanket to sit on.
  5. Hungry? Brick Oven Pizza and Subway are within walking distance in Kringle Place Shopping Center.
  6. Bring a bag to collect all that candy!
  7. St. Nicholas Catholic Church (located across the road from Kringle Place Shopping Center) invites parade-goers to stop by for free hot chocolate once the parade concludes.
