Santa’s Candy Castle is now open for the summer season! View hours of operation here. Here are ten reasons to visit Santa’s Candy Castle: 10. For starters, you can brag that you’ve been inside a real castle. And what’s a castle without a princess? Take home Frozen-themed merchandise featuring Princesses Elsa and Anna. 9. There’s a wall entirely dedicated to PEZ dispensers. 8. You can find vintage candy from days gone by like Whatchamacallit and Candy Buttons. Sweet! 7. It’s free to visit. The rotunda is jam packed with classic and recently released Christmas books. 4. $1 stocking stuffers line the shelves as you enter the building. 3. There are tons of cool Jelly Belly products including the Bean Boozled game that tests your taste buds. 2. You can chat with an elf and receive a certificate saying you are on Santa’s good list. Now you’ll finally have proof to show all of your family and friends! 1. Frozen Hot Chocolate. Need I say more? There’s a reason families make more than one visit to Santa’s Candy Castle during their trip to Santa Claus, Indiana, and this decadent chocolate dessert is one of them. Bonus: You can participate in the Avalanche Challenge by attempting to finish 64 ounces of the delicious frozen hot chocolate. If you are really daring, try competing in the Fire and Ice Challenge that adds fiery hot popcorn to the contest.
